Sublimation

RMD is excited to add a new item to our ever-expanding list of services. We are now offering sublimation as an option for large format printing.

Sublimation is the method of applying an image to specially coated materials or substrates, using three main ingredients: sublimation ink, heat and pressure. Traditional screen printing covers fabric with ink, making it nearly impossible for air or moisture to pass through. The Sublimation process dyes the fabric with color, which helps maintain a fabrics ability to breathe and let moisture through. The process dyes the threads of the fabric, there is no peeling, flaking or noticeable color change.
